Many bands or singers in this generation have much different minds of what music is about than in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Many of them do it for the "bling bling", "the bitches" and the expensive cars, when thats the total opposite what its all about. In the early 60s and 70s (before disco), music wasn't about money or "bling bling" it was pretty much about ,poetry, LSD and depth and the fans or what Jim Morrison used to say, you should always do the best performance no mattter what the size the crowd is because you don't know if that will be the last performance you will ever do. To have a great group there should be lyrics that are either deep, catchy or with feeling, players such as drummers and guritars etc should have good skills and talent, and always put on a great show. Thats how bands like Led Zeppelin were such a great band and in my opinoin the greatest rock band that ever lived, because they haven't put out a CD or new song for up to 25 years, but yet they are extremly popular and are still very well remembered.
